Monday Morning Family Meetings. 

Please join us each Monday morning at 8:30 am for a weekly morning Meeting via Google Live Stream. We will have mystery guest readers each week and get our week started off right!  I hope you can join us.  





Elementary Spring Book Fair


St. Joseph Public Schools is thrilled to partner with our local bookstore, Forever Books, for this year’s spring book fair, which will take place May 7 - May 21. This event will give you the opportunity to stock up for summer reading while supporting your school and a local business.You will be able to shop in-store and online. Twenty percent of your sales will come back to our schools.

Middle School Students


NWEA MAKE UP 

LAST CHANCE TUESDAY MAY 18th. 12:45-3 pm.  Students will receive an invite to google hangout. 

Attention middle school girls!
 
Have you ever struggled with your body image? We want you to feel comfortable attending school at St. Joseph. If you have ever thought negatively about your body, or are interested in helping others that have, please join us virtually on the dates listed below to learn how to be more comfortable with your body. You will even have the chance to hear from some high school girls and how they have learned to overcome the pressure of social media and feeling confident in themselves. The dates are as follows: 
5/10, 5/17, 5/25

2021 Summer Send Off  - FREE Books Giveaway

 

Your SJPS school libraries want to send you into summer with more FREE books! Once again, our amazing partnership with the SJPS Foundation and Forever Books has made this possible. 

 

To select YOUR FREE BOOK, you should first browse your grade level’s title options and then submit your top three choices using the accompanying form.

 

Current 6th/7th graders -  Summer Send Off Book Options + Book Selection Form

 

Current 8th graders - Summer Send Off Book Options + Book Selection Form

 

To make sure we can get your FREE book ordered and delivered to you before the end of the school year, please submit your choices no later than 5:00 pm, on Tuesday, May 18. 

 

Our plan is to have these books available before we say our summer farewells on June 11, but we will let you know via email when your books are ready for pickup. If you have questions, please email kburnette@sjschools.org




High School Students



Exams for second semester will once again be optional.  However, there will be a slight difference.  All Virtual courses will have the exams removed.  It will be your responsibility to contact the teacher should you choose to take the exam.  IF you choose to take it and your grade goes down, you will need to let the teacher know not to count it and have it once again removed.
