Computer collection for elementary virtual students who have school issued computers will be on June 10th from 1 pm to 3 pm at the high school.   

Middle School Students

June 11th is the final day for classes.  There will be no extensions provided.

High School Students

Exams for second semester will once again be optional.  However, there will be a slight difference.  All Virtual courses will have the exams removed.  It will be your responsibility to contact the teacher should you choose to take the exam.  IF you choose to take it and your grade goes down, you will need to let the teacher know not to count it and have it once again removed.  

Virtual students will be receiving the grades they earn this semester.  Credit/No Credit will not be an option for high school virtual students this spring.

St. Joseph Public Schools is thrilled to partner with our local bookstore, Forever Books, for this year’s spring book fair, which will take place May 7 - May 21. This event will give you the opportunity to stock up for summer reading while supporting your school and a local business.You will be able to shop in-store and online. Twenty percent of your sales will come back to our schools.

If you have ever thought negatively about your body, or are interested in helping others that have, please join us virtually on the dates listed below to learn how to be more comfortable with your body. You will even have the chance to hear from some high school girls and how they have learned to overcome the pressure of social media and feeling confident in themselves. The dates are as follows:

2021 Summer Send Off  - FREE Books Giveaway

 

Your SJPS school libraries want to send you into summer with more FREE books! Once again, our amazing partnership with the SJPS Foundation and Forever Books has made this possible. 

 

To select YOUR FREE BOOK, you should first browse your grade level’s title options and then submit your top three choices using the accompanying form.

 

Current 6th/7th graders -  Summer Send Off Book Options + Book Selection Form

To make sure we can get your FREE book ordered and delivered to you before the end of the school year, please submit your choices no later than 5:00 pm, on Tuesday, May 18.

Prom Ticket sales begin Monday, April 26 for SJHS SENIORS ONLY.  Tickets are $15 each and will be sold at all lunches.  Limited quantity available; first come, first served. Exact cash or a check made out to St. Joseph Public Schools is preferred. 

Virtual students may purchase tickets during lunch time in the student center from 11:00 a.m. - 12:39 p.m. or prearrange a pick-up during school hours in the front office. To do so, contact Mrs. Becker (tbecker@stjoebears.com) or Mrs. Culver (jculver@stjoebears.com) to arrange a time; you will receive a confirmation email indicating your ticket is ready to be picked up. Exact cash or a check made out to St. Joseph Public Schools is required for pick-up. Our front office will not be able to make change. 

Ticket sales will open up to SJHS JUNIORS the following week, beginning May 3rd. 

Seniors and Juniors must purchase their own ticket and may not buy for others this year.
