All Virtual Students
The 2021 Ren Baldwin Student Technology Festival will be held virtually this year via the festival's 2021 website. Student finalists will be notified early this week, and the winners will be announced at school on Friday. Please watch for additional communication coming next Friday with the specific web address for the Festival. Thank you to the St. Joseph Public Schools Foundation for supporting this project and to all of the teachers and students participating.

Elementary Students
Monday Morning Family Meetings. (this week is Tuesday May 4th
Please join us each Monday morning at 8:30 am for a weekly morning Meeting via Google Live Stream. We will have mystery guest readers each week and get our week started off right! I hope you can join us.
MSTEP will be completed this week with third grade on Friday. We will post a make up date soon for anyone who didn't complete each test.
3rd Grade
Friday May 7th 9:15-11:00 Math
NWEA testing. NWEA will once again begin shortly. Please remember this test is done virtually and the student must not receive help. More information will come from your teacher.
Elementary Spring Book Fair
St. Joseph Public Schools is thrilled to partner with our local bookstore, Forever Books, for this year’s spring book fair, which will take place May 7 - May 21. This event will give you the opportunity to stock up for summer reading while supporting your school and a local business.You will be able to shop in-store and online. Twenty percent of your sales will come back to our schools.
A digital booklet with more details will be shared with you on Friday, May 7. We hope you enjoy the fair and find some good new reads. Thank you for supporting our St. Joseph Public Schools and our local bookstore!
Middle School Students
Attention middle school girls!
Have you ever struggled with your body image? We want you to feel comfortable attending school at St. Joseph. If you have ever thought negatively about your body, or are interested in helping others that have, please join us virtually on the dates listed below to learn how to be more comfortable with your body. You will even have the chance to hear from some high school girls and how they have learned to overcome the pressure of social media and feeling confident in themselves. The dates are as follows:

Student should be done at 11:00 am each day.

NWEA TESTS for Middle School-Start tomorrow
These tests will be conducted virtually.
MATH May 4th 1-3 pm. ELA May 5th 1-3 pm. Students will be sent a google meet link to join where the test will be conducted.
High School Students
Prom Ticket sales begin Monday, April 26 for SJHS SENIORS ONLY. Tickets are $15 each and will be sold at all lunches. Limited quantity available; first come, first served. Exact cash or a check made out to St. Joseph Public Schools is preferred.
Virtual students may purchase tickets during lunch time in the student center from 11:00 a.m. - 12:39 p.m. or prearrange a pick-up during school hours in the front office. To do so, contact Mrs. Becker (
tbecker@stjoebears.com) or Mrs. Culver (
jculver@stjoebears.com) to arrange a time; you will receive a confirmation email indicating your ticket is ready to be picked up. Exact cash or a check made out to St. Joseph Public Schools is required for pick-up. Our front office will not be able to make change.
Ticket sales will open up to SJHS JUNIORS the following week, beginning May 3rd.
Seniors and Juniors must purchase their own ticket and may not buy for others this year.
